Spinal Decompression Therapy in Franklin, Georgia for Specific Spinal Concerns

This service is for people with back pain, sciatica, neck pain, headaches, or disc-related symptoms who need a closer look at their movement and comfort. The key decision is whether controlled decompression belongs in the care plan, not whether the table is suitable for every patient.

Our team begins with a new patient intake, health history, and exam. X-rays may be considered if clinically indicated. The findings guide a report of findings and a personalized treatment plan, which may include spinal decompression alongside Cox flexion-distraction, TENS therapy, or rehabilitation work.

A careful assessment matters because severe inflammation or advanced degeneration may change the approach. Poor follow-through can also limit progress. We explain the plan in plain language so you understand what the treatment is meant to address and what signs should guide the next review.

  • Share the location, pattern, and triggers of your back or neck symptoms.
  • Bring information about prior injuries, current care, and relevant health conditions.
  • Ask how spinal decompression fits with adjustments, traction, or rehabilitation.
  • Discuss how progress will be checked during care.

Service Overview

Spinal decompression therapy is a non-surgical treatment approach that uses controlled table movement to reduce stress around affected spinal areas.

  • Unlike a standard diversified adjustment, decompression focuses on guided traction and movement, while other methods address joint motion and soft tissue tension.
  • We provide this care for patients in Franklin and throughout Heard County.
Process

How spinal decompression care is planned

1

Complete the new patient intake

We record your health history, symptoms, prior injuries, and current concerns before treatment choices are made.

2

Check movement and symptoms

The examination checks movement, tenderness, and patterns linked to back pain, neck pain, sciatica, or disc-related symptoms.

3

Review the findings

We explain the report of findings and discuss whether spinal decompression, Cox flexion-distraction, traction, or rehabilitation fits your needs.

4

Begin the selected care

When decompression is appropriate, we use a spinal decompression table and monitor your response during care.

5

Recheck progress

Follow-up reviews help us judge how your symptoms and movement are responding and whether the plan needs adjustment.

How we approach spinal decompression decisions

A plan based on your examination

Your health history, movement findings, and symptoms guide the treatment choice. We don't place every patient on the same plan.

Methods that work together

Spinal decompression may sit alongside Cox flexion-distraction, traction, TENS therapy, or soft tissue work when those methods fit the findings.

A clear limit on treatment fit

Spinal decompression may be the wrong choice when your condition needs a different form of medical assessment or care. We discuss that concern during the evaluation.

What patients seek from spinal decompression care

Controlled traction may help reduce stress around irritated spinal areas.

A focused evaluation gives you a clearer view of which treatment methods fit your symptoms.

Combining decompression with rehabilitation may support improved mobility and daily function.

The plan can address back pain, neck pain, sciatica, or disc-related discomfort.

Regular maintenance may support movement after the active care plan is complete, when it fits your needs.

This place is great. They have a good sized staff so you rarely have to wait. Because of how little wait time there is it’s very easy to just walk in. Even when you walk in without an appointment the waits aren’t long. The staff here is also extremely polite. Also they have great hours. The fact they close at 6 makes it extremely easy to get here. The place is also extremely clean which is always a bonus for me.

Questions about spinal decompression care

How does a visit move from the first call to the last step?

The visit moves from consultation to intake, examination, findings, treatment selection, and progress review. We first discuss your symptoms and health history. Then we assess movement and explain whether decompression fits. If it does, care may use a spinal decompression table with traction or rehabilitation. Later reviews help us judge your response.

Which part of the evaluation decides whether decompression fits?

Your health history and movement examination decide whether decompression fits your complaint. We review symptom location, triggers, prior injuries, and current care. The exam adds findings about motion and tenderness. Those details help us choose between decompression, Cox flexion-distraction, adjustments, traction, or rehabilitation. A different form of care may be more suitable for some conditions.

How can I tell whether spinal decompression fits my symptoms?

A clinical evaluation is the safest way to decide whether spinal decompression fits your symptoms. Back pain, sciatica, neck pain, and disc-related discomfort can have different causes. Our team reviews your history and movement before recommending care. Bring information about prior injuries, current treatment, and symptoms that affect walking, sitting, lifting, or sleep.

What changes the cost of this treatment?

The assessment, selected methods, and added rehabilitation services change the cost of treatment. A consultation helps define what your care plan includes. We explain whether the plan uses decompression alone or combines it with traction, soft tissue therapy, TENS therapy, adjustments, or exercise. Ask for the pricing details before care begins.

When should I seek another medical assessment?

New or worsening symptoms that concern you should prompt another medical assessment. Spinal decompression is not the right response for every complaint. Tell us about severe changes, new weakness, major injury, or symptoms that feel different from your usual pattern. We can discuss the concern during an evaluation, but urgent medical issues need prompt medical attention.
