How We Serve Clients in Peachtree City

Spinal decompression therapy fits patients who want a structured approach for back pain, neck pain, sciatica, or disc-related discomfort. The key decision is whether controlled traction belongs in your personalized treatment plan.

Our team begins with a new patient intake, health history, and exam. We review movement limits and injury details before discussing treatment options. X-rays may be considered when clinically indicated.

This service has limits. It isn't the right choice for every symptom, and results vary by person. We may combine decompression with Cox flexion-distraction, TENS therapy, myofascial release, or rehabilitation when the assessment supports those methods.

  • Share your symptom history, accident details, prior injuries, and current treatment.
  • Ask how harness positioning and traction fit your treatment plan.
  • Tell the team about discomfort during any part of the session.
  • Review progress during follow-up visits and re-examinations.

Process

How we provide spinal decompression therapy

1

Complete the health history

We review your symptoms, prior injuries, accident details, and current care during the new patient intake.

2

Assess movement and treatment fit

The exam helps us understand mobility limits and decide whether controlled traction belongs in your personalized treatment plan.

3

Set the harness position

We position the harness and body supports so the treatment setup matches the planned area.

4

Begin gradual traction

Controlled traction starts at a level suited to the plan, and we monitor your comfort as the session continues.

5

Review the next care step

We discuss your feedback and determine whether follow-up care, rehabilitation, or another method fits the next visit.

What to weigh before choosing spinal decompression

Start with the treatment assessment

The assessment connects your symptoms, movement limits, and health history to the proposed care. The right choice is based on fit, not a preset routine.

Use feedback during traction

Your comfort matters during harness positioning and gradual traction. Tell us if a position feels wrong so we can review the session.

Know when another method fits

Spinal decompression may be the wrong service when your symptoms call for another evaluation or treatment path. We discuss related options such as adjustments, TENS therapy, or rehabilitation when appropriate.

My name is Daffaney Foster. Dr. Bostic has made my first experience with a chiropractor extremely smooth. He walked me through each step. My body was tensed upon arrival, then after the massage bed and the stim therapy , my body feels amazing. I had neck and back pain and it is starting to fade away! I feel better than when I first started. Maria is very knowledgeable, sweet and super personable which makes the visits a lot less stressful.

This is the best place to come after an accident. I was in a lot of pain. My wonderful experience begun when I walked through the front door with Chantal and Maria. They were both supportive, caring, understanding, helpful, and extremely professional. I was in a lot of pain but their beautiful smiles encouraged me. I believed I was in the right place. I really appreciate Dr. Bostic because I have never met a doctor who would apologize because of a mistake in scheduling. That is exactly what he did. There was a miscommunication in the scheduling and he came to the front and politely apologized. Dr. Bostic is very intelligent and caring. He has healing hands I believe. The information he shared with me about my concerns were very helpful in many ways. He calmed my nerves and educated me at the same time. I trust him because he is taking good care of me and educating me about my concerns. He is always professional and would share a laugh or two. Most of all he is gentle and is concerned about me and has helped me with my pains. My headache is gone and the muscle spasms in my head has completely stopped. I am no longer feeling numb. My blood pressure is no longer high. I took no medicine for my blood pressure. I absolutely love this place. Arrowhead in Newnan. I have often been told your attitude affects your healing. When you walk through the door you are embraced with a beautiful smile and lots of grace. Here at Arrowhead, Newnan they offer you joy that supports your healing process. The office is extremely clean and very relaxing.I love the roller room. When you look out you see gorgeous trees and hear the birds chirping. This is the best place to come after an accident in the entire state of Georgia! They have the best doctor and front desk staff! Thank you Dr. Bostic, Maria, and Chantal! I appreciate you all! Questions about spinal decompression therapy

Which part of the treatment decides the right traction setup?

The treatment assessment decides the traction setup by reviewing symptoms, movement limits, and the area being treated. Harness positioning then supports the planned approach. We also consider prior injuries and current care before beginning. Patients should share any change in symptoms during the visit so the team can review the setup and next step.

How does a visit move from the first call to the last step?

The visit moves from consultation and intake to assessment, positioning, gradual traction, and follow-up review. You’ll discuss your health history and treatment goals first. We then explain the proposed plan before care begins. After the session, your feedback helps guide rehabilitation, related treatment, or a progress re-examination.

Why might spinal decompression not suit my symptoms?

Spinal decompression may not suit symptoms that need another type of evaluation or treatment. Our exam helps identify whether controlled traction fits your condition and goals. We may discuss diversified adjustments, soft tissue therapy, or rehabilitation when they better match the findings. Tell us about severe changes, new symptoms, or prior diagnoses before treatment.

What changes the cost of this treatment?

The treatment plan, assessment needs, and related services influence the cost. A consultation helps us understand your symptoms and explain which care is being considered. The proposed plan may include spinal decompression, rehabilitation, or another method. We discuss the expected services before care so you can request an exact quote from our office.

Which records should I bring after an accident?

Accident records, prior imaging, medication details, and current treatment information help us assess your care. Bring documents that describe the injury and any reports you have received. Tell us about pain changes and movement limits as well. For personal-injury patients, our legal referral network can help connect you with attorneys while treatment and insurance matters are coordinated.
