Headache Treatment in Palmetto for Neck and Posture Concerns

This service is for people whose headaches occur with neck pain, reduced motion, cervical strain, or tight muscles. We begin with a new patient intake, health history, and exam, then discuss what we find and what care may fit.

The key decision is whether the symptoms appear connected to the musculoskeletal system. A headache with sudden severe pain, new weakness, confusion, fainting, or major vision changes needs urgent medical evaluation, not chiropractic care.

For other cases, our team may assess posture, neck motion, soft tissue tension, and movement habits. The plan can include adjustments, traction, myofascial release, TENS therapy, or rehabilitation exercises.

  • Note when headaches begin and what makes them worse.
  • Bring information about neck injuries, accidents, prior care, and current medicines.
  • Expect a health history, physical exam, and discussion of treatment options.
  • Ask how progress will be checked during the care plan.

Record the headache pattern

We review your symptoms, health history, prior injuries, current medicines, and daily activities during the new patient intake.

2

Check neck motion and posture

The exam checks cervical movement, posture, muscle tightness, and related joint function. X-rays are considered only when clinically indicated.

3

Explain the findings

We provide a report of findings and discuss whether musculoskeletal factors may relate to your headaches.

4

Choose suitable care

The plan may include diversified adjustments, Activator Method techniques, traction, TENS therapy, or myofascial release.

Progress re-examinations help us assess movement, symptoms, and the ongoing fit of the personalized treatment plan.

When this service is the right fit

A person in Palmetto may seek care after recurring headaches appear with desk posture, neck stiffness, or a prior strain. We review the symptom history, check neck movement and soft tissue tension, then explain whether chiropractic care fits the findings.

How We Approach Headache Care Decisions

Start with the symptom pattern

We first connect the headache pattern with neck motion, posture, and muscle tension. The decision is based on the exam and your health history, not on the headache label alone.

Match methods to the exam

A plan may use an Activator instrument, diversified technique, Cox flexion-distraction, or soft tissue therapy. We select methods that fit the findings and your comfort.

Know when another service fits

Chiropractic care is the wrong first step for sudden severe symptoms, neurological changes, or signs of a medical emergency. Those concerns need urgent medical assessment.

This is the best place to come after an accident. I was in a lot of pain. My wonderful experience begun when I walked through the front door with Chantal and Maria. They were both supportive, caring, understanding, helpful, and extremely professional. I was in a lot of pain but their beautiful smiles encouraged me. I believed I was in the right place. I really appreciate Dr. Bostic because I have never met a doctor who would apologize because of a mistake in scheduling. That is exactly what he did. There was a miscommunication in the scheduling and he came to the front and politely apologized. Dr. Bostic is very intelligent and caring. He has healing hands I believe. The information he shared with me about my concerns were very helpful in many ways. He calmed my nerves and educated me at the same time. I trust him because he is taking good care of me and educating me about my concerns. He is always professional and would share a laugh or two. Most of all he is gentle and is concerned about me and has helped me with my pains. My headache is gone and the muscle spasms in my head has completely stopped. I am no longer feeling numb. My blood pressure is no longer high. I took no medicine for my blood pressure. I absolutely love this place. Arrowhead in Newnan. I have often been told your attitude affects your healing. When you walk through the door you are embraced with a beautiful smile and lots of grace. Here at Arrowhead, Newnan they offer you joy that supports your healing process. The office is extremely clean and very relaxing.I love the roller room. When you look out you see gorgeous trees and hear the birds chirping. This is the best place to come after an accident in the entire state of Georgia! They have the best doctor and front desk staff! Thank you Dr. Bostic, Maria, and Chantal! I appreciate you all! Questions About Headache Care

What should be ready before headache care starts?

Your symptom history, injury details, medication list, and prior imaging should be ready before care starts. Bring notes about when headaches begin and what changes them. Our new patient intake uses those details with the physical exam. This helps us discuss suitable methods and identify symptoms that need another form of medical attention.

What should I ask before agreeing to treatment?

Ask what the exam found, which method is proposed, and how progress will be checked. A clear discussion should cover adjustments, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation, and any limits of the plan. Our team explains the report of findings before care begins. You can also ask what symptoms should lead you to seek medical evaluation.

Which condition changes the time needed for headache care?

A prior neck injury can change the time needed for evaluation and care planning. Symptoms, movement limits, muscle tension, and relevant medical history also shape the visit. We review those factors during intake and examination. The first discussion focuses on safe assessment, not a preset treatment duration.

Why can poor posture relate to recurring headaches?

Poor posture can increase strain on the neck and upper back muscles, which may relate to recurring headaches. Our exam checks head position, shoulder posture, cervical motion, and soft tissue tension. Rehabilitation may address movement habits alongside hands-on care. Results vary because headache causes differ between patients.

How does a first headache visit work in Palmetto?

The first visit includes a health history, symptom review, physical exam, and discussion of findings. Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor Newnan uses the evaluation to discuss a personalized care plan. The visit may address prior accidents, neck pain, posture, and current medicines. X-rays are considered only when clinically indicated.

What should I do if a headache feels like an emergency?

Sudden severe headache, confusion, fainting, new weakness, or major vision changes need urgent medical evaluation. Chiropractic care should not delay emergency assessment for those warning signs. Headache care is more appropriate after serious concerns have been addressed and the symptoms fit a musculoskeletal review.
