Corrective Exercise Therapy for Movement Control in Chattahoochee Hills

Corrective exercise therapy is for people whose movement has changed after pain, an accident, sports strain, or long-term discomfort. The work may focus on mobility drills, core stability, balance, or controlled strength based on the findings from your exam.

The key decision is fit. This service supports musculoskeletal rehabilitation, but severe symptoms or signs of a medical emergency need medical evaluation. • Health history and movement review before exercises are selected.
  • Mobility and control checks tied to the patient’s daily goals.
  • Exercise changes based on symptoms, form, and progress.
  • A rehabilitation plan that may work alongside chiropractic treatment.

Service Overview

Corrective exercise therapy is a rehabilitation service that uses guided movements to improve strength, control, mobility, and function.

  • Chiropractic adjustments address joint motion, while corrective exercises train the muscles and movement habits that support daily activity.
  • Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor Newnan provides this care for patients in Chattahoochee Hills through individualized rehabilitation programs.

What Patients Get From a Careful Exercise Plan

Movement checks before exercise selection

Your plan starts with a patient evaluation, not a preset exercise list. We look at pain, range of motion, control, and the movement pattern linked to your concern.

Exercise matched to chiropractic care

Corrective exercises can work with diversified adjustments, Activator Method techniques, traction, TENS therapy, or soft tissue work when those options fit your findings.

A clear limit on exercise therapy

This service is not the right first step for unexplained severe symptoms, suspected fractures, or signs of a medical emergency. We direct those concerns to the appropriate medical care.

The scope this service is meant to handle

A person in Chattahoochee Hills may seek care after an accident leaves the neck, back, or hip stiff and guarded. We check the movement pattern, compare it with the health history, and set exercises around safe control. The plan may include mobility drills and core work, while other injuries receive the treatment they require.

Process

How We Build a Corrective Exercise Plan

1

Review symptoms and health history

We discuss your pain, injury history, daily activities, medications, and movement goals during the new patient intake.

2

Check movement and control

The exam looks at range of motion, balance, strength, posture, and movement patterns that may affect your symptoms.

3

Choose focused exercises

We select mobility drills, core stability work, and controlled strength exercises that match the exam findings.

4

Guide form and progress

We watch your form, discuss how your body responds, and adjust the rehabilitation plan as your needs change.

My name is Daffaney Foster. Dr. Bostic has made my first experience with a chiropractor extremely smooth. He walked me through each step. My body was tensed upon arrival, then after the massage bed and the stim therapy , my body feels amazing. I had neck and back pain and it is starting to fade away! I feel better than when I first started. Maria is very knowledgeable, sweet and super personable which makes the visits a lot less stressful.

This is the best place to come after an accident. I was in a lot of pain. My wonderful experience begun when I walked through the front door with Chantal and Maria. They were both supportive, caring, understanding, helpful, and extremely professional. I was in a lot of pain but their beautiful smiles encouraged me. I believed I was in the right place. I really appreciate Dr. Bostic because I have never met a doctor who would apologize because of a mistake in scheduling. That is exactly what he did. There was a miscommunication in the scheduling and he came to the front and politely apologized. Dr. Bostic is very intelligent and caring. He has healing hands I believe. The information he shared with me about my concerns were very helpful in many ways. He calmed my nerves and educated me at the same time. I trust him because he is taking good care of me and educating me about my concerns. He is always professional and would share a laugh or two. Most of all he is gentle and is concerned about me and has helped me with my pains. My headache is gone and the muscle spasms in my head has completely stopped. I am no longer feeling numb. My blood pressure is no longer high. I took no medicine for my blood pressure. I absolutely love this place. Arrowhead in Newnan. I have often been told your attitude affects your healing. When you walk through the door you are embraced with a beautiful smile and lots of grace. Here at Arrowhead, Newnan they offer you joy that supports your healing process. The office is extremely clean and very relaxing.I love the roller room. When you look out you see gorgeous trees and hear the birds chirping. This is the best place to come after an accident in the entire state of Georgia! They have the best doctor and front desk staff! Thank you Dr. Bostic, Maria, and Chantal! I appreciate you all! Questions About Corrective Exercise Therapy and Movement

How can strength training improve movement?

Strength training can improve movement by building control in muscles that support daily actions. Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor Newnan checks your form, mobility, and movement pattern before selecting exercises. The plan may include core stability work, mobility drills, and gradual resistance. Individual response differs, so exercises are adjusted when symptoms or movement quality change.

What happens at each stage of corrective exercise therapy?

The process begins with an intake and exam, then moves into exercise selection and progress checks.

  1. We review symptoms, health history, and activity limits.
  2. We check mobility, strength, balance, and movement control.
  3. We guide exercises matched to the findings.
  4. We adjust the plan as your movement and symptoms change.

Who is a good fit for corrective exercise therapy?

People with movement limits, injury-related pain, weakness, or reduced control may fit this service. Corrective exercise therapy can support recovery after auto accidents, sports injuries, workplace injuries, and falls. Severe unexplained symptoms, suspected fractures, or emergency warning signs need medical evaluation first. Our team checks fit during the patient evaluation.

What does the team look at first during exercise therapy?

The first review checks your symptoms, health history, movement limits, and daily activity demands. We then watch range of motion, balance, strength, and control through selected movements. Prior injuries and current treatment also matter. This information helps us choose exercises that match your condition instead of using the same plan for every patient.

Which signs mean I should stop an exercise?

Stop an exercise when it causes sharp, worsening, or unfamiliar symptoms. Report new weakness, numbness, dizziness, or pain that does not settle after stopping. Our team can review your form and change the exercise when needed. Severe symptoms or signs of an emergency need prompt medical care, not continued exercise practice.

Why might stiffness return after mobility drills?

Stiffness may return when the underlying movement pattern, strength gap, or activity demand remains unchanged. Mobility drills address motion, but control and core stability may also need attention. We review what brings the stiffness back and adjust the plan. Regular maintenance can support movement, but results vary between patients.

How does the first consultation help with exercise planning?

A free consultation gives you a chance to discuss symptoms, injury history, and movement goals before care begins. We use the health history and exam to decide whether corrective exercise therapy fits. The plan may also include chiropractic adjustments, spinal decompression, or soft tissue therapy when those services match the findings.
