Car Accident Injury Treatment for Palmetto Patients

Car accident injury treatment helps people who develop neck pain, back pain, headaches, sciatica, or soft-tissue symptoms after a crash. The work focuses on how the injury affects movement and daily tasks.

The key decision is whether your symptoms fit chiropractic and rehabilitation care, or whether another medical evaluation should come first. Our team completes a health history and exam, then explains the findings before care begins.

A collision can affect more than one area. We look at spinal motion, muscle tension, joint function, and the way you walk or turn. That broader view helps connect pain management with mobility training.

  • Share the accident details, current symptoms, prior injuries, and medicines during the new patient intake.
  • Ask how the functional assessment relates to your pain and movement limits.
  • Bring relevant accident or insurance information when requesting a consultation.
  • Tell us if symptoms change during care so the plan can be reviewed.

How We Approach Accident-Related Pain

Functional assessment before treatment

The functional assessment checks movement and symptoms before we select techniques. This helps match care to the injury pattern instead of treating every patient the same way.

Several methods for different symptoms

Spinal adjustments, Activator Method techniques, Cox flexion-distraction, TENS therapy, and soft tissue work serve different clinical needs. We explain which methods fit your findings.

Clear limits of chiropractic care

This service is not the right job for a severe medical emergency or symptoms that need hospital care first. We direct urgent concerns toward appropriate medical attention.

Process

How We Carry Out Accident Injury Care

1

Record the accident and health history

The new patient intake covers the collision, symptoms, prior injuries, medicines, and daily limits. This gives the examination useful context.

2

Check movement and function

The health history and exam assess range of motion, tenderness, muscle tension, and functional limits. X-rays are considered if clinically indicated.

3

Explain the findings

We review the report of findings and explain how the symptoms relate to the examination. You can ask questions before care begins.

4

Match methods to the findings

The plan may include spinal adjustments, Cox flexion-distraction, TENS therapy, myofascial release, traction, or mobility work.

5

Review progress and function

Progress re-examination checks changes in symptoms and movement. We adjust the rehabilitation plan when your needs change.

Care Methods for Different Accident Symptoms

I would have to give this location 5 stars as I was sent here on the google reviews alone. I am here due to a car accident I was recently in. Starting treatment was simple and every member of their staff treats you with care and listens to your needs. I have gone to a previous facility for a car injury and I didn’t finish treatment because I didn’t feel comfortable with how they treated me during my care of how much worse I felt I was feeling. I was sent here on a google lead and I would have to say the 5 stars is WELL deserved. Go to the staff and say Jordan Jackson sent you and they will get you set!

I am very grateful to the entire team. From day one, they have treated me with kindness, respect, and professionalism. After my accident, I completed all of my therapy sessions here, and they have always cared about my recovery and well-being. Everyone on the staff is friendly, patient, and makes every visit a pleasant experience. They have also always been flexible and helped me adjust my appointments whenever I needed to, which I truly appreciate. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs physical therapy. Thank you all so much for your support and excellent care!

Questions About Accident Injury Care

How do rehabilitation exercises support recovery after a car accident?

Rehabilitation exercises support recovery by improving movement and building control around injured areas. The first step checks your range of motion, strength, balance, and daily limits. We then choose exercises that match those findings and combine them with other care when needed. Individual response differs, so progress is reviewed during follow-up visits.

What should I ask before agreeing to accident injury care?

Treatment questions should cover the findings, recommended methods, expected goals, and signs that need medical attention. Ask how spinal adjustments, mobility training, or TENS therapy fits your exam. You can also ask how progress will be checked. Clear answers help you decide whether the plan suits your symptoms and recovery needs.

Which condition changes the time needed for mobility training?

The injury pattern changes how much mobility training your plan needs. Limited range of motion, muscle guarding, joint restriction, and pain during movement can each affect the plan. Our team checks these findings during the exam and progress reviews. We don't set a treatment schedule from accident details alone.

Why might spinal decompression be included after a collision?

Spinal decompression may be included when back symptoms and examination findings support that method. The plan may also use traction, soft tissue therapy, or mobility work. Decompression is not a fit for every patient or every injury. Our team explains the reason for each method before adding it to care.

What information should I bring to my first appointment?

Accident details, symptom notes, prior injury information, and current medicines help us assess your needs. Bring insurance information and any records you already have. A written list of pain locations and movement limits can also help. The new patient intake fills in the remaining health history before the exam.

Can your team help with attorney or insurance coordination?

Our legal referral network can connect personal-injury patients with attorneys and help coordinate treatment and insurance matters. Legal advice comes from the attorney, not the clinic. Share the accident information you have during intake so our team can explain the coordination process. Treatment still begins with an examination and care discussion.

How are treatment methods matched to my injury?

Treatment methods are matched to your symptoms, movement limits, and examination findings. Spinal adjustments may address restricted motion, while myofascial release or TENS therapy may support soft-tissue pain. Cox flexion-distraction and traction may fit selected back conditions. We explain the plan before care starts and review it as symptoms change.
