Manual therapy and mobility work may help some patients move more comfortably. Seek medical care for severe symptoms, bleeding, fever, sudden swelling, or other urgent concerns.

Tailored Solutions for East Newnan

Prenatal chiropractic care focuses on the changing demands pregnancy places on the back, hips, pelvis, and surrounding muscles. Our team checks your health history, movement, symptoms, and comfort before selecting hands-on techniques.

The main decision is whether your needs fit conservative chiropractic care or require medical attention first. Severe or unusual symptoms need prompt medical assessment. For routine musculoskeletal concerns, we create a personalized treatment plan and review progress as care continues.

  • Discuss pregnancy history, current symptoms, medications, and relevant health concerns.
  • Check movement, muscle tension, pelvic support needs, and comfort during positioning.
  • Review whether mobility exercises or soft tissue work fit the care plan.
  • Ask about follow-up visits and regular maintenance when ongoing support may help.

Service Overview

Prenatal chiropractic care is a hands-on service that addresses musculoskeletal discomfort and movement changes during pregnancy.

  • It focuses on pregnancy positioning, pelvic support, soft tissue work, and mobility exercises rather than general injury rehabilitation after an accident.
  • Our prenatal care serves patients in East Newnan through the Arrowhead Clinic office in Coweta County.

What Patients Get From Prenatal Chiropractic Care

A plan based on your evaluation

Your treatment plan follows a health history and physical assessment. Patients receive care choices that match their symptoms, comfort, and mobility needs.

Pregnancy-aware positioning

Positioning matters during hands-on care. We adjust support and body placement so the evaluation and treatment fit the pregnancy stage and current comfort.

Clear limits on chiropractic care

This service is not the right job for severe or unexplained symptoms that need medical assessment first. We focus on musculoskeletal concerns and refer patients toward medical care when the concern falls outside that scope.

I would have to give this location 5 stars as I was sent here on the google reviews alone. I am here due to a car accident I was recently in. Starting treatment was simple and every member of their staff treats you with care and listens to your needs. I have gone to a previous facility for a car injury and I didn’t finish treatment because I didn’t feel comfortable with how they treated me during my care of how much worse I felt I was feeling. I was sent here on a google lead and I would have to say the 5 stars is WELL deserved. Go to the staff and say Jordan Jackson sent you and they will get you set!

I am very grateful to the entire team. From day one, they have treated me with kindness, respect, and professionalism. After my accident, I completed all of my therapy sessions here, and they have always cared about my recovery and well-being. Everyone on the staff is friendly, patient, and makes every visit a pleasant experience. They have also always been flexible and helped me adjust my appointments whenever I needed to, which I truly appreciate. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs physical therapy. Thank you all so much for your support and excellent care!

Really happy with the care I’ve received here. Everyone is friendly, the office is always clean, and they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. A big thank you to Maria for taking the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. She made the whole process easy to understand. I’ve been feeling better since starting treatment, and I appreciate all the help I’ve received. Highly recommend!

Questions About Prenatal Chiropractic Care

What techniques are used in prenatal chiropractic care?

Manual therapy is the main hands-on approach used in prenatal chiropractic care. Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor Newnan may also use pregnancy positioning, pelvic support, soft tissue work, and mobility exercises. The evaluation guides the choice. Cox flexion-distraction or other chiropractic methods may fit selected concerns, but individual response and pregnancy needs guide treatment.

What happens at each stage of prenatal chiropractic care?

The visit starts with a health history and patient evaluation.

  1. We discuss symptoms, pregnancy details, and prior injuries.
  2. We check movement, muscle tension, and comfortable positioning.
  3. We explain suitable care options.
  4. We create an individualized treatment plan.

Follow-up visits review your response and adjust care when needed.

What does the team look at first during prenatal chiropractic care?

The first check covers your health history, current symptoms, movement, and comfort. Our team also asks about medications, prior injuries, and concerns linked to pregnancy. Pelvic support and muscle tension receive attention when they relate to your complaint. This information helps us choose appropriate treatment and identify concerns that need medical care first.

What should be checked before prenatal chiropractic care is scheduled?

A consultation should confirm that your concern is musculoskeletal and suitable for chiropractic care. Bring relevant health information, medication details, pregnancy concerns, and records about prior injuries. Severe pain, bleeding, fever, sudden swelling, or other unusual symptoms need medical assessment first. Free consultations help you discuss fit before treatment is planned.

How does pregnancy positioning affect the treatment plan?

Pregnancy positioning affects comfort, support, and which hands-on methods fit the visit. We discuss comfortable positions before treatment and change support when needed. Patients should describe pressure, discomfort, or new symptoms during care. Positioning does not replace medical evaluation when symptoms suggest an urgent health concern.

Why might mobility exercises be part of the care plan?

Mobility exercises may support daily movement when stiffness or muscle tension limits function. We select movements after checking symptoms, comfort, and current mobility. Patients receive guidance that fits the broader treatment plan, not a fixed routine for every pregnancy. Stop and seek medical advice if an exercise causes concerning symptoms.

Which information should I bring to my first visit?

Your first visit benefits from a current medication list, pregnancy details, symptom notes, and prior injury information. Records from other health providers may also help when they relate to your concern. Our intake and evaluation organize this information before we discuss treatment. You can also bring questions about positioning, soft tissue work, or mobility exercises.
