Headache Treatment in East Newnan for neck-related symptoms

Headache care begins with the question behind the symptom. Neck pain, cervical strain, poor posture, and tight muscles can affect how the head and upper spine move.

Our team reviews your health history, symptoms, accident details when relevant, and daily movement. We then decide whether chiropractic care fits the concern or whether another form of medical evaluation should come first.

This page helps East Newnan patients understand care for headaches linked with musculoskeletal problems. It is not a promise that every headache has a chiropractic cause or will respond the same way.

  • Bring a clear account of when the headaches began and what makes them worse.
  • Share accident details, prior injuries, current symptoms, and relevant health history.
  • Expect a health history and exam before a personalized treatment plan.
  • Ask how progress will be checked during follow-up care.

What to weigh before choosing headache care

A detailed first evaluation

Thorough patient evaluations help us match care to the findings. We review symptoms, movement, and health history before selecting adjustments or soft tissue therapy. This service is the wrong fit when headache symptoms suggest a medical emergency or a condition outside musculoskeletal care.

Methods matched to movement

Diversified adjustments, the Activator Method, traction, and TENS therapy serve different purposes. We select methods based on the exam, comfort, and treatment goals rather than using one approach for every patient.

Rehabilitation beyond the adjustment

Headache care may include kinesio taping, myofascial release, and individualized exercises. These steps address movement habits and muscle support, which can matter when posture or injury affects daily function.

Process

How we carry out headache and neck care

1

Review symptoms and health history

We discuss headache patterns, neck pain, past injuries, current concerns, and the activities that affect your symptoms.

2

Check movement and soft tissue

A physical exam reviews neck motion, posture, muscle tightness, and related mobility limits. X-rays are considered when clinically indicated.

3

Explain the findings

We walk through the report of findings and explain whether chiropractic care matches the concern.

4

Choose suitable treatment methods

The plan may use diversified adjustments, Activator Method techniques, traction, TENS therapy, or myofascial release.

5

Build rehabilitation support

Individualized exercises, kinesio taping, or other rehabilitation steps may support movement and daily function.

6

Check progress and refine care

Follow-up reviews help us assess changes and decide whether the treatment plan needs adjustment or maintenance care.

My name is Daffaney Foster. Dr. Bostic has made my first experience with a chiropractor extremely smooth. He walked me through each step. My body was tensed upon arrival, then after the massage bed and the stim therapy , my body feels amazing. I had neck and back pain and it is starting to fade away! I feel better than when I first started. Maria is very knowledgeable, sweet and super personable which makes the visits a lot less stressful.

I would have to give this location 5 stars as I was sent here on the google reviews alone. I am here due to a car accident I was recently in. Starting treatment was simple and every member of their staff treats you with care and listens to your needs. I have gone to a previous facility for a car injury and I didn’t finish treatment because I didn’t feel comfortable with how they treated me during my care of how much worse I felt I was feeling. I was sent here on a google lead and I would have to say the 5 stars is WELL deserved. Go to the staff and say Jordan Jackson sent you and they will get you set!

Really happy with the care I’ve received here. Everyone is friendly, the office is always clean, and they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. A big thank you to Maria for taking the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. She made the whole process easy to understand. I’ve been feeling better since starting treatment, and I appreciate all the help I’ve received. Highly recommend!

Questions customers ask about headache care

What causes headaches that may respond to chiropractic care?

Joint restriction may contribute to headaches that respond to chiropractic care. We also check cervical strain, poor posture, stress tension, and muscle tightness during the exam. The first visit includes a health history and movement assessment. Results vary, and severe or unusual symptoms may need medical evaluation before chiropractic treatment.

How do I know whether chiropractic care fits my headache?

A health history and physical exam help determine whether musculoskeletal findings match your headache pattern. We review neck motion, posture, prior injury, and soft tissue tension. Chiropractic care may fit headaches linked with these findings. A serious injury or unusual symptom pattern calls for medical assessment before treatment.

Which part of my first visit decides the care plan?

The health history and physical exam guide the care plan.

  • We review symptoms and prior injuries.
  • We check neck movement, posture, and muscle tension.
  • We consider X-rays when clinically indicated.
  • We explain the report of findings before selecting treatment methods.

This process helps match care to your condition.

What should I bring to a headache consultation?

Your symptom history, accident details, prior imaging, and current medication information can help us assess your concern. Bring records that relate to neck pain or previous injuries when available. We also need to know what activities trigger symptoms. That information supports a more useful health history and exam.

Why might a headache continue after neck treatment begins?

Headache symptoms can continue when several factors affect them, including posture, stress tension, muscle tightness, or another health issue. Our team reviews progress and changes the plan when the findings support a different approach. Individual response differs. New or severe symptoms should receive prompt medical attention.

Which method may be used for neck-related headaches?

Diversified adjustments, the Activator Method, soft tissue therapy, traction, and TENS therapy may be used when the examination supports them. We do not use every method for every patient. The selected approach depends on movement findings, comfort, injury history, and the goals discussed during the report of findings.

Can care include rehabilitation after an accident?

Yes, rehabilitation can support headache care after an accident when the examination finds related neck or soft tissue concerns. We may include kinesio taping, traction, myofascial release, and individualized exercises. For personal-injury patients, our legal referral network can connect patients with attorneys while treatment and insurance matters are coordinated.
